Hostility Toward Gay Youth Rises Post Election Group Says
http://www.365gay.com/newscon04/12/120904youth.htm

Lambda Legal said Thursday that there has been a marked increase in hostility towards LGBT young people in the wake of the November election.

The organization cited examples in five states where it says the rights of gay students are being threatened, and announced it was stepping up its campaign on youth rights.

Lambda called local television and radio stations in Missouri, Utah, Alabama, Iowa and Texas to air public service announcements about the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth in school. It also said it is reaching out to state and local organizations in the communities, to provide comprehensive materials that educate youth and schools about their rights and obligations.

anyone surprised by this?

2. Suffering people need an enemy to blame.
Gays (all minorities, non-christians or 'different people' actually) are scapegoats for the shrinking middle & blue collar classes. Same thing as Nazi Germany.

3. Actions perpetrated by
cowardly, pussified, ignorant conservative scum. Its time to meet hostility with hostility. These cowardly bastards would shit their colons if you get in their face. I do it as often as possible. I live in a red state and I don't take shit off any of these flag waving, bible thumping haters. I'm a heterosexual, 50 year old Veteran and I didn't serve 24 years protecting and defending the constitution against enemies foreign and "domestic" to let some backwood peckerheads fuck with other citizens constitutional liberties. Look em in the eye, poke em in the chest, kick em in the ass. They'll run and hide in their klavern.

9. I've gotta salute the courage of a kid in Mississippi wearing anything
pro gay rights to school. Funny, there was a flame war yesterday over a statue being defaced at a church as though a statue were a living animate object...meanwhile look at what states can get away with doing to people.

10. They can hate them all they want, but they will probably work for them
one day. For sure, they (the haters) will never be as successful as the those they hate.

12. When religious and political leaders verbally bash people
you can only expect others to follow suit, physically, verbally and any other way they can.
