Organizers request U.S. Senate recount (Alaska)
http://www.juneauempire.com/stories/120904/sta_20041209004.shtml

Organizers of the group Alaskans for Fair Elections spent Wednesday collecting the final contributions for the $10,000 necessary to conduct a state recount, according to Fairbanks organizer David Koester. The deposit pays the cost of the recount and will be returned if the outcome changes.

According to the group's Web site, exit polls conducted at 3:30 p.m. on Election Day showed Knowles winning the election with 50 percent to Murkowski's 47 percent. It also questions the accuracy of optical scan voting machines used in the election.
"We're trying to assure Alaskans that it was a fair election and that the votes were counted accurately and only counted once," Sonneman said.
State law requires the Division of Elections to complete the recount within 10 days.

3. OnDems.com I saw an article that said that a Pug rep from Fla.
had hired a computer co. to come up with a voter fraud program. A whistleblower had signed an affidavid. Has anyone here heard about this? Is it true? Finally someone should go to jail. We will never have democratic elections again until these bastards go to prison and pay hefty fines.

4. Knowles v. Murkowski
Edited on Fri Dec-10-04 02:00 AM by I Love Alaska
I hope that Knowles wins. He was our previous governor and did a wonderful job of leading this state. This state has gone to hell ever since Daddy Murkowski was elected governor and appointed his DAUGHTER Lisa Murkowski!! (Yes, he hand appointed her without a public vote!!). IS THIS AMERICA??????
