Deputy chairman and general secretary of the Viet Nam Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin (VAVA) Tran Xuan Thu said it would now take place on February 28, 2005.
He said the New York court wanted to give both sides more time to prepare for what was a complicated case. snip
The suit was first filed by three Vietnamese dioxin victims, accusing 36 US companies of producing and supplying the toxic defoliant used by the US army in Viet Nam between 1961 and 1971.
More than 2 million Vietnamese continue to suffer from diseases linked to Agent Orange.
