Saudi security thwarts protests

Saudi police made several arrests as anti-monarchy protesters attempted to stage demonstrations in the kingdom's main cities.
Witnesses reported gunshots, at least six arrests and dozens of people being chased in the streets by security forces in Jeddah on Thursday.

There were reports of minor protests outside government offices in Tabur and Hail but the capital Riyadh was calm.

Exiled dissident Saad al-Faqih had called for protests against the regime.

Mr Faqih had said he was expecting "tens of thousands" of people to turn out, even though political demonstrations are outlawed.

Whats that smell? Oh, its that US enforced Saudi style democracy. See what the Iraqis have to look forward to when Bush finishes imposing his style of democracy on them? Bet they just can't wait.

1. And the moral of the story is this.
Don't protest just blow something up. Dissent will get you arrested. Terrorism will be ignored.

3. CNN dickwad said this morning the reason he had no video was because...
...CNN didn't have enough reporters to cover it. Yea, thats the ticket. Surely wouldn't have nothing to do with not wanting to show American DynCorp employees out in the Saudi streets shooting protesters like dogs. Would it?

4. Expect MORE of this
And, not to give away the ending of this charming Morality Play, our fearless leader will be "forced" to invade the country to "protect the world's oil supplies."

Gas up those SUVs, Ah-nold, good times are a-coming for the rich!

His Holiness Emperor Georgie must not be displeased by seeing the dirty working class. Georgie, being appointed by god, can never be wrong and any protest of him is contrary to that truth, and therefore must not be allowed!
