W.House Gives Rumsfeld New Vote of Confidence
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The White House gave a new vote of confidence on Friday to Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld amid growing criticism of him from members of President Bush's own Republican Party.

"Secretary Rumsfeld is doing a great job leading our efforts at the Department of Defense to win the war on terrorism and to help bring about a free and peaceful Iraq, and the president is focused on working closely with him on those matters," said White House spokesman Scott McClellan.

... since Cheney is the only one higher on the cabal's phallic totem pole. Cheney and Rummy (sneer and leer) give Smirk his orders. Cheney brought in his bench and farmed out the first half's players to prepare for '08.

My prediction is that very, VERY soon after the inaugural rim job, Rumsefeld will be packing his bags, and it will be fed to the press as "his decision."

44. OMG, look at those hands.
I'm an amateur palm reader, and I see lots of very strange things going on in those palms. In particular, I see a very strange Line of Fate which crosses the life life which goes around the base of the thumb. Also, there are weird criss-crosses along his major lines. I don't think I've ever seen that before.

Thank you for posting the photo. I'll take a closer look later on.

6. It's a dog and pony show to make it APPEAR that GOPers are independent
and won't just rubberstamp all Bush's moves. But....they will.

Rumsfeld is also useful to Bush in that he draws the fire when it is Bush who is really to blame. Bush likes that.

30. I see a lightbulb going off across America
It will be a few days, but when USA Today and other MSM start reporting the facts, there will be broad awareness of how America has been sending its sons and daughters off to war only to be picked off like sitting ducks. About 250 troops died because of improperly armed vehicles.

That's gotta hurt.

34. anti rummy letter to move around
(oh great: now he signs the death knell letters):

Mr. Rumsfeld must go. Not later: NOW. He has absolutely no respect for the citizens of the USA, nor of the world.

He is wanted as a war criminal in Germany.

He signs letters to families of OUR dead soldiers with a computerized, automatic name-signing program.

He has refused us seeing the caskets of OUR dead.

He has been responsible for Iraqis being tortured. He is responsible for the torture which has taken place at Guantanamo Bay. These events did not happen randomly; they were ‘OK’d’ by the top brass.

More than 5500 American soldiers have deserted the Armed Forces. They are filling up the homeless shelters in Canada as well as the US.

There are more amputations associated with this war than any other.

OUR soldiers are not even accorded decent equipment. They ask questions about why they have to ‘make-do’ by digging for scrap metal in order to protect their vehicles in order that they not be blown to smithereens---or become amputees.

They are required to stay in Iraq past their ability to endure if some members of their company remain there.

THIS MUST STOP.

He has deeply offended many Americans: we want him OUT NOW.

Rumsfailed Admitted to Violating Geneva Convention

Rumsfailed admitted in public on TV that when CIA Director Tenet requested that an Iraqi prisoner be sent to a secret Afghan/US Prison that Rumsfailed did so. After four months a DOD Attorney stated that this was an illegal act. Rumsfailed then ordered that this prisoner be sent back to Abu Graihib but the prisoner was purposefully not listed at that location, also an illegal act. Rumsfeld also admitted to signing orders for tougher interogation methods which violated the Geneva Conventions.

Rumfailed has commited at least three violations of the Geneva Convention thereby also violations of The Constitution of the USA. Recently it has been found out that even more detainees were "ghost detainees". The fact that Rumsfailed and Tenet have not been charged speaks volumes. If Congress wishes to garner any respect they should move forward with Rep. Rangle's Impeachment Declaration of Rumsfailed and also proscecute Ex. CIA Tenet.

=========================
Q: Senator Jack Reed (Dem, RI): "If you were shown
a video of a United States Marine or an American
citizen in control of a foreign power, in a cell block,
naked with a bag over their head, squatting with their
arms uplifted for 45 minutes, would you describe that
as a good interrogation technique or a violation of
the Geneva Convention?"

A: Marine Gen. Peter Pace, the vice chairman of the
Joint Chiefs of Staff: "I would describe it as a violation."

A: Paul D. Wolfowitz, the deputy secretary of defense: "What
you've described to me sounds to me like a violation of the
Geneva Convention."
