Nevadans remain opposed to Yucca Mtn:Survey commissioned in wake of * elec
this news really pisses me off!!!

WASHINGTON -- The presidential election still is being fought in Nevada, at least when it comes to Yucca Mountain.

Both sides in the dispute over the proposed nuclear waste repository continue to debate President Bush's victory on Nov. 2, and what it means in terms of public opinion and for upcoming fights in Congress.

A new poll commissioned by Sens. Harry Reid, D-Nev., and John Ensign, R-Nev., indicates most Nevadans remain opposed to Yucca Mountain and a majority want the state to continue fighting the nuclear waste project even though voters chose to re-elect Bush.

The senators said the poll reported the true feelings of Nevadans as they cast their votes in November. Analysts said the senators also were acting to control Election Day damage on the Yucca issue.

1. These people are idiots..............
just like the creature they voted for. What in hell did they expect? He has his "Mandate", all of that "Political Capital" to spend. They sent him a message that they agreed with his policies, including Yucca Mountain, yet they're pissed off that he's going to go through with it? Assholes, pure and simple. Fucking morons.

4. Oh come on...
You dumb fucks. If you can't tell that Bush stands for raping the enviroment and dumping the waste anywhere away from his house, you deserve it. I thank god I live in NYC so it's pretty unlikely that they're gonna be dragging that shit past my house, but I feel bad for the good people that it will affect.

5. I voted for Kerry but i think my vote went to chimp. In the heavily
democratic Clark County was were given the new
Sequoia paper trail less "voting machines". The Repups
I know voted for Kerry or refused to vote because of
Yucca.

7. I'm torn
I feel like giggling and saying, "Lie in the bed you made, assholes" but then I think of all the Nevadans who didn't vote for Bushco (Nevada barely went for *).

9. Just remember that the state may have actually gone to Kerry.
With the current "evil" administration and its minions in charge who knows who really won any state.
