Baghdad commander of Iraqi security forces assassinated
(Sorry if this is a dupe - I don't recall seeing it)

Baghdad commander of Iraqi security forces assassinated
(DPA)
28 December 2004

BAGHDAD - The commander of the Iraqi National Guard in the capital city was assassinated on Tuesday by a suicide bomber who drove a car bomb into the convoy transporting the official, witnesses said.

In addition to killing Madhar al-Maula, the explosion wounded several convoy passengers. Sheikh Hazim al-Shalan, the interim defence minister, later visited the site of the explosion.

North of Baghdad, a dozen Iraqi policemen were killed by insurgents who attacked a police station about 15 kilometres outside Tikrit, police said.

7. Just,...please,...give these people their country back.
We're simply wreaking havoc against people who never invited this hellish invasion.

If this neoCONimperialist administration truly believed that "freedom" empowers people,...why won't they just get the hell out and allow "freedom" to reign? They toppled Saddam. Why won't they STOP suppressing "freedom" with their destructive military force against the innocents?

The truth is the neoCONimperialists never valued "freedom", human "freedom",...as evidenced by their every freakin' endeavor to control the flow of economic and political benefit from their power.

Destruction is profit to the neoCONimperialists.

I imagine boils covering the neoCONimperialists' bodies,...for emotional/intellectual/spiritual release.

All the insurance costs must be spriraling out of control; life insurance, medical, environmental. Imagine if the "trial lawyers" are allowed to get a big award! It could be a disaster for the insurance companies!

21. This source is marching to a lonely cadence.
All other sources say the opposite, that the ING general was not killed, by which they mean General Modher Abud, not the fellow named here.

Maybe they meant deputy governor Muyad Marwan al-Ithawi, whose body was found riddled with bullets today; or maybe they meant Capt. Naem Muhanad Abdullah, a local police commander murdered today in Baqubah.

Perhaps they made a mistake?

24. could have been the work of OUR mercenaries....special ops...

in light of bush* problem in Northern Iraq, where KURDS are being executed in broad daylight, and fleeing for their lives....the genocide against the KURDS has just began...it's being perpetrated by the IRAQI SECURITY FORCES...people who bush* decided to arm and train and now they know how to do this in a militarily effective way, and they are fully armed to carry out the mission....

is bush* ALWAYS on vacation?

is he sleeping off a drinking/drugging binge down there in Crawford?

has anyone told Commander-in-Chief bush* about these problems in his his WARS?

This whole bush* war has been spiralling OUT OF CONTROL for a long time now...it's getting increasing difficult to determine who is KILLING who, and for what reasons????

28. How's about we do a BEFORE and AFTER U.S. invasion photo-op!!!
Two months BEFORE the neoCONimperialists psy-op'ed the American citizens into a profiteering war,...Iraq looked like this________

Two years later, Iraq looks like this_____________

Now, take those pictures and add the hundreds of billions of national wealth funnelled into political corporations,...the hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi citizens physically traumatized on top of the millions of Iraqis emotionally impacted,...the entire nation of both Iraq and U.S.A. that has been impeached by this imperialistic/capitalistic spree,...

,...and you have a HORROR that will be documented as,...what it is,...ambitious, arrogant, insensitive, gloutonous, self-serving, power-mongers who PROVED themselves the floor rather than the ceiling of human potential.

I imagine their bodies covered with blisters for just/humanitarian/spiritual/emotional relief.

30. and now, the full impact of bush* war is apparent...bush KILLED
as many INNOCENT PEOPLE (women/children/men) as the tsunami did....the only difference is the time frame for the killing....the sunami took a few hours, bush* took almost two years...

hopefully, Americans can now see the MAGNITUDE of what we are responsible for in Iraq.....
