FDA OKs Ecstasy Study in Cancer Patients

The Food and Drug Administration (news - web sites) has approved a pilot study looking at whether the recreational hallucinogen can help terminally ill patients lessen their fears, quell thoughts of suicide and make it easier for them to deal with loved ones.

This is always good news, in my opinion, I think because it is important to think up new innovations of the way to use these drugs which before only kids use as at niteclubs. Same with grass. When I was yougner it was only to get high, now they are figuring out ways as a cancer treatment: a cure someday? plants have things locked in them.. Too bad about bombing the trees in Afghasistan that makes Ecstasy because they an use it for medicine like this.

Also, since the beginning of the Opium Wars where the British gave opium to the Chinese so that they would sell the jade to them cheaply, the problem was addiction, but with Ecstasy, the kids don't get addicted, and the breast cancer people proably won't get too addicted either. So that is a point to make.. It is not grass in China, or weed as the younger kids call it, but OPIUM that is the problem.

You have noieda how tried i am right now afte no sleep.. peple didn't like my post.. i am jsut trying to get the idea across to cure cancer with E, but not as a club dancer... Maybe it is something else made out of hte poppies, maybe it's pot.

I guess the problem is that i am not sure if making the E in the lab is that same as the poppy that they feed to the drunks and the addicts in Asia. Like when I was in India, they give a tintcher or something of opio to the lepers and that is supposed to make them like they took E. Now, E, on the other hand, is a nightclub drug.. Maybe you are thinking of Owsley. He was making LSD for Ken Kesey back in the 1940 and 1950s.

I guess the point I was trying to capture, is you can't bomb the poppies without killing Afghan and Uzbek peasants, but at the same time, are they making E in the Afghanistan to send to our young children who just want to dance ?

7. No...opiates are different from E...

E is made entirely in a lab - often in teh US itself or Europe....Central Asia is not needed. Opiates ease pain usually and E is definitely a stimulant of a unique sort.
