Nashville: Unopened ballot box discovered |
|
The chairman of the Republican Party of Davidson County says he will file a protest with Metro’s Election Commission after an unopened Aug. 7 ballot box was found at Forest Hills Baptist Church, a voting site for Thursday’s runoff election.
The box did not contain any ballots but could have potentially carried ballots from disabled persons, voters who recently registered at the Department of Motor Vehicles, write-in votes and persons not comfortable with the electronic voting system.http://www.nashvillecitypaper.com/index.cfm?section_id=9&screen=news&news_id=26522

In repuke land..ballot boxes estimated to contain something like 37,000 votes also seemed to have disappeared, (Area is less than 35 percent Democrat, and republicans totally control the Supervisor Of elections office. These boxes were from predominantly Black areas, and areas that were higher in other democratic voters. When this was noted and mentioned, the Supervisor of election just shrugged it off and laughed at requests to investigate. This was in the good old F state. and I was among the peopl harassing the supervisor about it.
