White House to send Jeb Bush to tsunami areas
A spokesman for President Bush said Thursday that the president's brother, Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, will travel with U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell to Asia's tsunami-stricken areas, beginning over the weekend.

The move was the latest by the White House to show its commitment to help with relief efforts following initial criticism that the United States was being stingy in the face of an unprecedented disaster.

How convenient, * is starting Jeb's grooming even before beginning his second term.

I noticed that, too.

13. Jeb is being positioned for 2008
He has repeatedly said he won't run but his actions are exactly the ones of a candidate trying to get national face time in the media and portray themselves as a representative of the United States abroad. It's pretty transparent.

16. The keyword is "show"...
"The move was the latest by the White House to show its commitment"

What counts for these countries is not to run into Jebbie among the rubble. What counts is the money, and the actual physical help.

Don't forget, for the Bushistas, perception is reality!

17. Jeezus, this is who represents us?
Edited on Thu Dec-30-04 06:58 PM by Malva Zebrina
by going to this huge disaster area--Jeb Bush, the governer of a crooked state, who presided over an election fraud to get his brother elected although all the votes were not counted?

Excuse me, but this orange sucking asshole does not represent me or the other people in the rest of the 49 states, and I resent his pandering photo ops in the face of this terrible disaster.

THIS is who represents us because his stupid brother says so? Jeb Bush? With a wife who has smuggled and a daughter that was sent off to a drug rehab and tried to beat the system while she was there?

This is a man who represents the US in this disaster area?

Excuse me, but who, but the people of Florida voted for him to be Sec'y of state, or ambassador for the entire US?

Where is the Condoleeza? The expert? The PhD?

Jeezus--can they screw up this country any more than that?

Jeb Bush? Dear heavens, where on earth does this crap come from?

I wouldn't be surprise if Jeb got a place in Bush's cabinet. I can see his name being announced as Homeland Security director after the 20th.
