Two court challenges filed in WA governor's race
OLYMPIA, Wash. - Two people have filed challenges to the governor's election with the state Supreme Court, firing the first shots in an anticipated legal battle over the amazingly close contest.

Both challenge the legitimacy of Gov.-elect Christine O. Gregoire, a Democrat who lost the first two counts but beat Republican Dino Rossi by 129 votes in a hand recount of 2.9 million ballots. Gregoire's inauguration is scheduled for Wednesday.

7. OMG...
When are they going to get over it??????????
Buzzflash.com has an article about Snohomish, County Washington State, there were definitely irrigation on touch screen machines that were used. Snohomish County is Democrat County and for some reason, Rossi got 8,000 more votes in this county when it has always gone to Democrats. Read it... Fraud didn't just happen in other states... it also happen here too with touch screen machines.

5. Heard their radio commercial today
Brought up the troops who didn't get their ballots in time. Basically they were asking for signatures on a petition for a re-vote to protect the troops and dis-enfranchisement of voters. Paid for by the Republican Party of WA. Interesting that not one of the Republican house members from my state voted yesterday to protect the rights of voters in the rest of the country.

These hypocrites disgust me.

6. Thugs are losers in the truest sense of the word

They bitched and moaned about the cost monetarily and otherwise to the people of the State of Washington, even after it was reported the Dems would have to pay up front for the recount, and the taxpayers would pay only if the outcome was different, which it was. So $700,000+ for a more accurate accounting of the votes in WA st-cheap at twice the price. *mocking voice* "A recount will tear this state apart!"

The they sued (using evil trial attys, no doubt) to keep over 750 erroneously disqualified ballots from being counted. They sued to disenfranchise legal voters.
Now, they demand the taxpayers of this state fork out over an estimated $4m to 'Revote'

Christ. No sense of irony there, is there?

8. They never intended to lose..and they still don't
Repubes are political pit-bulls..

Perhaps after Gregoire is inaugurated, she should immediately set out to mend the creaky election infrastructure.

too bad she cannot just "banish all the repubes" to an island somewhere and get those pesky gnats out of all our faces.:)

9. Revote - this is the Ukraine model.
Recounts, recalls, revotes, when it is convenient for the conservative cause, otherwise "get over it".
