Pentagon's Wolfowitz Says He Staying in Bush Team
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz, a leading architect of the Iraq war, said on Friday he had been asked to remain in the Bush administration and will do so.

But a spokesman declined to answer further questions, including how long Wolfowitz might stay in President Bush's second term, which begins on Jan. 20, or whether he might have been offered another position.

Wolfowitz is the administration's leading neo-conservative, a group that advocates aggressive American global leadership including the use of military force.

As violence and instability in Iraq has grown, many critics have sought to blame him for U.S. policy mistakes that experts say contributed to the crisis.

13. Oh yippee. That'll be great.
But OF COURSE he's been asked to stay. The biggest frauds, fuck-ups, and other assorted miscreants are all staying, or getting promoted. If he wasn't asked to stay, that'd be tantamount to bush admitting he'd made a mistake. Or that the guy was a truth-teller who finally found his conscience (like Paul O'Neill). Those are the folks who get the heave-ho. Besides, for enough money, he'd probably find enough of a conscience to write a book. Really can't have that, either.

14. The man who has become what he most fears,...
,...another leader of inhumane destruction.

Meanwhile, he becomes increasingly "shaky" at every public appearance. What is left of his conscience still fights that devil which has directed his obsession.

BAH!!!

Go ahead, you power-clinging wimp,...drag the Jews down,...along with the rest of us. You paranoid freak!!! Get help before you destroy all of us!!!

15. Paul Wolfowitz....
Now there's an example of a high-paid pencil-pusher who had never done anything except sit in an office.

Concocted the plans for World Domination. By the US, of course. He said that we would be a "benevolent dictator" and maintain stability in the world. A la the PNAC.

I think the first time reality hit him hard was his trip to Baghdad to check things out. A bomb exploded in his hotel and killed the U.N. envoy Richard Mello. Wolfowitz barely escaped injury. He was shaken and shocked.

At that moment, he probably realized that he was in over his head. He's had many, MANY opportunities to see his plans falling apart, but it's too difficult to stop now.

The machinery has already forward. The troops are there. We're $200 billion poorer. Many, many people have died over this.

As his dreams of the Benevolent U.S., kindly dominator of the world, recede further back, like the foothills of Arizona.....

HEY WOLFIE: Here's somethin' friggin' obvious for ya! YOUR CELLMATE WILL BE NAMED 'BUBBA' AND HE'LL MAKE YOU DROP THE SOAP! OVER AND OVER!

Oh, and Wolfie, he'll be your friend, just wait and see.

You will ultimately be convicted of treason, I don't know when, I don't know what will bring it about, but dearest Wolfie, you are going to go down in your own hubris. I promise, or I'll die first and probably will. You are a traitorous bastard. You never cared about this country.

54. So what do the people think - polls say Wolfie should go
Wolfowitz is the administration's leading neo-conservative, a group that advocates aggressive American global leadership including the use of military force.

I would rephrase that to say "aggressive American global use of military force". That's what our international policy can be boiled down to.

"leading neo-conservative" leading this country straight to hell. This creep deserves to have a gun thrust in his hands and be put on the front line. Let's see how pro-war he'd be then. Once a chickenhawk always a chickenhawk.

Sonia
