Clinton And Oprah Set to Attend Mandela's Party
NELSON Mandela's 85th birthday party on Saturday is set to be the bash of the year.

Former US President Bill Clinton, his wife, Hillary, and daughter Chelsea, Oprah Winfrey and Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands will attend the banquet at the Sandton Convention Centre, part of which will be broadcast live on television.

Also rumoured to be attending are actor Robert De Niro, supermodel Naomi Campbell and singing superstars Barbra Streisand, Michael Jackson, Bono and Stevie Wonder. Irish pop band The Corrs head the entertainment line-up, which includes Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Sibongile Khumalo and P J Powers.

Desmond Tutu, Basetsana Kumalo and former TV newsreader Khanyi Dhlomo , who will be accompanied by the first African in space, Mark Shuttleworth, will also be there. All the guests have a "particular relationship" with Mandela, his spokesman, Zelda la Grange, said.

1. I try to keep up with the news but this is the first I've seen about this. Sorry if duped.

2. American media whores! Mandela riddicules Bush as being a brainless cockroach; Won't even meet Bush because he so disgusted with him.

World's most respected statesman Nelson Mandela says, "Bush a president who has no foresight, who cannot think properly..."

4. What a party!
Except for Michael Jackson I'd love to hang with any of those guests. Maybe if we could corner Bono, we could set him straight about *. Happy Birthday, Mr. Mandela!
