Emergency Landing at Phx Airport, possible explosive.

No link yet, just broke on the news. Local station reporting that a cargo plane has possible explosives on board. Pilots have left the plane and emergency crews are arriving on scene.

On Edit: Flight from LA to Louisville diverted to Phoenix. "Suspicious package" found on board.

I'll watch the news when it comes on here at 9 pm. I have been watching TCM tonight, they are having a Bogie & Bacall festival tonight!

5. It's a UPS plane, full of cargo.

Officials not saying if the pilot found something or if it was a called in threat.

10. Latest on now on Channel 10 News (FAUX station)

there were reports on explosives on board, it was a flight from LA to KY, and stopped in Phoenix. Police have area cordonned off. Not much more to report yet, no official word from officials.

A cargo jet made an emergency landing at Sky Harbor International Airport on Tuesday night after a bomb threat was phoned in to the United Parcel Service.

Three UPS crew members of the jet rappelled down a rope dangling from the cockpit of the Boeing 757, which was isolated at the east end of the north runway.

The jet had taken off from Los Angeles and was on its way to Louisville Ky., when it was diverted to Phoenix about 8:20 p.m.
