Rossi-Gregoire Election Challenge Hearing Friday

WENATCHEE, Wash. (AP) -
The Republican challenge to the election of Democrat Governor Gregoire continues tomorrow with a court hearing in Wenatchee's Chelan County Auditorium.

The GOP says it already has evidence of errors with provisional ballots, illegal voting by felons or votes cast twice or by the dead. The party says there are more than enough such votes to outweigh Gregoire's 129-vote victory of Republican Dino Rossi.

Democrats are asking the judge to dismiss the case on grounds that the Legislature -- and not the courts -- should decide an election contest.

1. Let's hope the judge does the right thing and upholds the election.

As the repubs say, reform should be done AFTER the election, to take effect in the next election.

Gregoire. I bet a good chunk were for Rossi.

have turned up to be Rossi voters :-)

he just may find out the dead vote Republican...(hell half the legal votes were brain-dead)
