Roadside bomb kills four GIs and four Iraqi troops
Edited on Sat Feb-05-05 07:37 AM by lebkuchen
Deadly roadside bombings

The four Americans were killed in two separate bombings Friday night near Beiji, 155 miles north of Baghdad, the U.S. military said Saturday. Four Iraqi National Guardsmen died in a roadside bombing early Saturday in Basra, Iraq’s second largest city.

Note to Lt. General Mattis: Apparently, Muslims-out-for-revenge feel the same way you do about killing, in this case, killing the occupational forces. In the future, should you feel the urge to blurt out another "bring 'em on" comment, please, sir, do our troops a favor and keep your mouth shut.

4. MSNBC has just changed its story to 17 Iraqis killed, 2 US killed
The two American soldiers from Task Force Danger were killed in a roadside bombing Friday night near Beiji, 155 miles north of Baghdad, the U.S. military said Saturday. The military had said a second roadside blast in the same area killed two more American soldiers, but later said that report was wrong.

5. ditto on your note to Mattis
When he said, "it's a hoot to go out and kill," I kept imagining an enemy soldier yelling that as he took aim at a US Marine. Not such a hoot now, is it, general?

7. Freedom to die on the march.
Too bad the neoCONspirators aren't walking in the shoes of those unto whom they violently delivered "freedom",...to die.
