Gas leak at Spain hostel kills 17

Seventeen people have been found dead at a youth hostel in eastern Spain after inhaling gas. The guests, all reportedly local Spaniards, had apparently left open a cooking or heating canister overnight, the Efe news agency said.

The deaths occurred at a hostel in Todolella, a hamlet of about 140 people in the province of Valencia.
