Matsui use of photo under fire (Nancy Reagan wants her to nix ad)
Former first lady Nancy Reagan considers Doris Matsui's latest congressional campaign ad inappropriate for using a photo of the two women together and may ask Matsui to stop running the commercial, Reagan's spokeswoman said Friday.

Matsui, a Democrat, is airing a 30-second television ad during the final week of her campaign that includes photos of herself with Reagan, as well as former Democratic first ladies Hillary Clinton and Rosalynn Carter. With Tuesday's election on the horizon, Matsui's campaign said Friday it has no intention of pulling the ad.

Matsui worked with the former first ladies during the 26-year congressional career of her late husband, Rep. Robert Matsui. The photo appears in an ad intended to highlight Doris Matsui's political experience, and use of the Reagan photo may attract bipartisan voter support.

2. Depends on who took the picture
If it was originally put out by the WH, then yes it would be in the public domain.

3. Ah, some of Nancy's natural sweetness coming out
Something a lot of people forgot about due to Ronnie's death and Nancy's advocacy for stemcell research - she's quite a bitch.

5. Go Away, Nancy
Your presidency (and prior governorship of California) harmed a LOT of people.

4. FINALLY the truth starts to seep out about that hag. Just because her
husband died and she displayed her grief publically (like no woman ever as before), people started to think of her as some kind of saint. She was a HORRIBLE woman.

Between her and her husband, who's life and legacy I won't bother to go into right now, they somehow managed to breed two very decent children. That is the ONLY good thing that they ever did. Period.
