3. And why are we there?
Edited on Sun Mar-13-05 10:25 PM by Erika
I watched CSpan interview the editor of USA Today concerning her trips to Iran. She said Iranians can watch American shows and love American music. Women must be covered but pantsuits with a small scarf is ok attire. Women in Iran can be educated and take up careers in law and about anything else. They are free to move around without men. She said that Iran is widening freedoms for the people, but slowly. However, they still don't have the freedoms the Iraqi people had under Hussein.

She said the oppressive region was Saudi Arabia who refuse to become secular and force its citizens to abide by the strictest interpretation of Sharia Law. Women are second-class citizens under the thumb of men.

So why are we in Iraq? I check www.icasualties.org daily.

4. We're there to carve the country up
which is already happening. That way it'll be easy to strike oil deals with the Kurds and Shiites.

6. A new Bushco Election Carol
On the sixth week after the election,
the resistance killed for Bush:

10 Iraqi Soldiers,
6 Iraqi Civilians,
3 US Soldiers,
3 US Contractors,
a Turkish Driver,
and
Scores of Iraqis Arrested.

(sung to the tune of The Twelve Days of Christmas).

Bush's war - the gift that keeps on coming.
