Iraqi police officer accused of leading an armed group
BAGHDAD, April 1 (KUNA) -- Iraqi security forces arrested on Friday an Iraqi police officer for suspicion of involvement with armed groups in Iraq.

Soldiers from the Iraqi army's sixth legion had apprehended the police officer, suspected of leading a terrorist group, said a statement by the Iraqi government's communications department.

It added that the officer was also involved in bombing Baratha's mosque in Baghdad.
