Ted Nugent to Fellow NRAers: Get Hardcore

HOUSTON - With an assault weapon in each hand, rocker and gun rights advocate Ted Nugent urged National Rifle Association members to be "hardcore, radical extremists demanding the right to self defense."

Speaking at the NRA's annual convention Saturday, Nugent said each NRA member should try to enroll 10 new members over the next year and associate only with other members.

"Let's next year sit here and say, 'Holy smokes, the NRA has 40 million members now,'" he said. "No one is allowed at our barbecues unless they are an NRA member. Do that in your life."

Nugent sang and played a guitar painted with red and white stripes for the crowd at Houston's downtown convention center.

Another thing I learned about TN on his show is that he is PW'd.

Is a pretty conservative, good ol' boy who hunts with guns and crossbows. Teddy came to Tulsa to sign copies of his latest book (that kill it and grill it one). My then girlfriend (from Colombia) and I went to the Borders to get a copy of it for my bro-in-law, and it was like walking into some crazy, lala land. He signed the book for me and said, "You enjoy that book. It's got a lot of wisdom in it." I almost burst something holding in my laugh.

Anyway, I gave it to my bro-in-law (who's a country music fan - never really paid too much attention to Ted), and he thanked me profusely. A month later I saw him again, and I asked him how he liked his book, and he said, "Well, the recipes look good, and I want to try some of them, but when I read it, I thought it was a humor book because I was sure no one would talk like this, but then I saw him on a hunting show, and he really is that stupid!" My sister chimed in that he's all talk and no walk and preferred to rip around the wilderness in a stupid looking SUV.

I saw this on a TV show on MTV or V1, called "Daughters of Rockers" or "Rockers Daughters" on Comcast Cable in CA about April 2004. Nugent was being interviewed and he was reminiscing about the minor/children girls he often performed sexaul acts on.

Who initiated the investigations into Skakle, Jackson, Stewart...? As a citizen, not in the state of Nugent's residence, can I file a complaint/charges? If they came back to charge Skakle after decades they should go after Nugent.
