Loop protesters rally against Bush policies

As President Bush arrived in Chicago today to speak at a campaign luncheon and meet with local business leaders, hundreds of people opposed to his domestic and foreign policies protested downtown.

Environmentally minded demonstrators waved signs reading, "Save a Tree, Remove a Bush." Others wrote "$2,000," the cost of luncheon tickets, on dinner plates. Some wore bright orange UN inspector suits.

"We're here to oppose the puppet administration and the corporate interests that are pulling the strings," said Jill Habing, who displayed life-sized papier-mache puppets of her own making of Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney.

As luncheon guests began leaving the hotel, the crowd yelled "Shame on you!" and "No weapons found, 10,000 dead!"

Just as the Repukes do to women going to Planned Parenthood offices. Put the donaters pics on the web!

11. Hey, I recognize one of the contributors

from you pic of them walking out. I am pretty sure the guy 2nd from the right is Gerry Kenny, Kenny Const. Co. in Wheeling. The family is very politically connected, one of the brothers was the "flood stud" who plugged up the leaking river, another was just named ambassodor to ireland. I think Gerry is a big shot in the Illinois Bush organization.
