Laura goes to wedding, leaves George at ranch
CRAWFORD, Texas – First lady Laura Bush is leaving President Bush home alone this weekend to attend the glitzy Mexican wedding celebration of U.S. Ambassador Tony Garza and his new bride, an heir to the Corona beer fortune. Texas Gov. Rick Perry is also planning to attend.

Mr. Garza, a close friend of the Bushes well before the president named him ambassador to Mexico three years ago, married María Asunción Aramburuzabala nearly two months ago at a Roman Catholic chapel near Mexico City. But they are having a second, civil ceremony tonight, and a three-day party to celebrate it.

.....

Ms. Aramburuzabala, 41, is the vice chairwoman of Grupo Modelo, the maker of Corona and Negra Modelo beers. Her grandfather co-founded the brewery 80 years ago, and it now ranks among the world's 10 largest beer companies with annual sales last year of $4 billion.

Mr. Garza, 45, is a second-generation American whose grandparents were from Mexico. A former Texas railroad commissioner, he also served as secretary of state when Mr. Bush was governor.

13. LOL, I just misread your post as "on the march"
instead of "on the ranch..." :) Too many things are on the march these days.

As the voiceover guy on Stephanie Miller says, "If you didn't laugh, you'd just cry all day..."

...which I highly recommend:

There are a ton of people (myself included) who took turns at pondering the mysteries of that photo.

The true reason why junior isn't going to the wedding is because Ricky Perry will be there.....and Laura might catch on!

18. Yes, a very good reason to post.
:hi: Made me laugh :D

and

gives me a springboard for my silly response:

He's going to sit home and pout because they weren't going to let him sing at the reception - even though he had a great line up:

"Now let me get this straight, you put the lime in the Corona and you drink it all up..."

"99 bottles of beer on the wall, 99 bottles of beer. Take one down and uh.. drink it. Uh.. 98 bottles of beer on the wall, 98 bottles of beer. Take one down and uh.. drink it, too. Uh.. 97 bottles of beer..."

"I'm forever blowing speeches"

"Wasted away again in MexicoCityville"
