Explosion at Kabul Internet Cafe Kills 3

An explosion rocked an Internet cafe in the Afghan capital Saturday, killing two Afghans and a Filipino, authorities said. Officials were investigating whether the blast was caused by a suicide attacker.

Five people were injured in the explosion at the Park Net Cafe in Kabul's upscale Shahr-e-Naw district, a hangout also popular with foreigners, said city police chief Gen. Akram Khakrezwal.

"It was an explosion, but we still don't know if it was a suicide attack," Khakrezwal said, declining to elaborate.

A man from the Philippines was believed to be among the dead, the Interior Ministry said Sunday. Police believed the man was from the Philippines because of his appearance and because of a document found at the scene of Saturday's explosion, ministry spokesman Latfullah Mashal told The Associated Press. Officials had yet to determine his name or why he was in Afghanistan.

... a sign of "Great progress" in the New Afghanistan(TM), a country that now enjoys Internet Cafes.

Riddled with blood and glass, but when did that ever stop a good propaganda line?

7. Called a "suicide bomber" with no investiagtion. Media Whores abound!
"A ministry spokesman said one of the three victims appeared to be a suicide bomber, because of the severe mutilation of his body."

I just don't believe it. I've been to dozens upon dozens of internet cafes in Asia. It would be so easy to leave a bag with a bomb it so why kill yourself? It just doesn't make any sense.

What does make sense is our Governments lying to us.
