Edward Kennedy Tells Gray Davis to Resign
WEAVERVILLE, Calif., U.S. Newswire

Background: The Kennedy for Governor Campaign learned from the Secretary of State's Notary Division that both Gray Davis and Cruz Bustamante do not possess Official Bonds of Office. The implications of this may be staggering. ---

Kennedy continued, "I could be wrong, but it seems to me based on our Constitution and the California Government Code no Official Bond of Office means that Office is vacant. Vacant Office of Governor means simply that we are debt free because the Governor is not authorized to incur debt on behalf of the people." ---

Next steps/Alternatives: 1) In order to win, Democrats may want to look at another candidate other than Cruz Bustamante. 2) Gray Davis and Cruz Bustamante must respond to their vacant office. 3) Kennedy Campaign brings a lawsuit. 4) A public interest organization brings a lawsuit.

Edward Kennedy is an "Independent" Democrat candidate for Governor of California and is on the ballot statewide. If elected, Edward Kennedy will serve but remains detached from the outcome. Edward Kennedy majored in Political Science and studied Constructional Law. Kennedy holds an MBA degree from the University Of Notre Dame, South Bend, Indiana

12. Sounds like one of those guys
Who claims you don't have to pay taxes because of the gold standard or something, or the ramblings of a long time inmate.

13. Weaverville ???
Anybody been to Weaverville Ca? Well if you had, you would have known somthing was wrong with this post....... I've been there. even worked there. It is a tiny road stop on Highway 299 between the northern Sacramento valley & the Pacific ocean. A good place to stop (if you are low on gas). Not exactly a hot bed of political sophistication.... Plenty good o boys with rifle racks in the windows of their pick-ups though.
