Bush: Hussein 'A Danger to the World' |
|
Shouldn't that headline read: "NO WMD FOUND"??? http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=514&e=1&u=/ap/20031003/ap_on_re_mi_ea/iraq_weapons_hunt_28WASHINGTON - President Bush (news - web sites) said Friday that a search for weapons of mass destruction in Iraq (news - web sites) made clear that Saddam Hussein (news - web sites) had deceived the international community and was "a danger to the world." :grr::nuke:

18. Hussein : Bush a Danger to World |
|
Cancun Mx. (AP) Recently deposed Iraqi strong man, Sadaam Hussein, released the following statement from his ocean view villa at the Goldens Palms Resort and Casino yesterday Oct 2, 2003
" I have heard a man called the AWOL Chimpanzee say I had weapons of destruction and I killed people. He above all, is a dangerous psychopath, It is he, who is capable of murdering old women and children through his shock and awe missiles, bombs, napalm and white phosphorus. He destroyed my country's power and water systems and now people starve. He is a hooligan and War Criminal."

Talk about bizarre!!!!
So, now we have a situation where if the leader of a nation is a proven liar, the world must step in, bomb the hell out of the country, kill thousands of innocent civilians and let the liar get away scott free.
You think Shrub is setting up his own escape, perhaps?

6. I saw that headline--rolled my eyes and thought of how much I hate Bush |
|
He is guilty of murder of innocents in Iraq--and hundreds of American troops--he is guilty of attacking another nation under false pretenses and those false pretences were handed out to his own people--Americans who believed Bush would never lie to his own people--he is guilty of running an administration whose lust for power, money and now revenge on anyone and their family who dares question this egregious attack and the lies connected to it--and this ignorant, man says , in effect, he was justified in it all because Saddam is a threat to the whole world. The preceding headline to that one on the Yahoo news said he was "defending" his decision to attack Iraq. I hate this dullard, this dunce, this dumb donkey of a man and his sleezy, slimy shit he continues to hand out to his own people.

Apparently, the deception was leaving doubt in the minds of foreign inteligence services what his military capabilities were, and the threat to the world being so weak as to invite invasion by political adventurers.

He said it was the weapons that he could spring on us (in 45 minutes, acc. Blair).
No one said he wasn't dangerous. Old news --> new news. Yawn.

19. What Bush is doing in this country is no different |
|
than what Saddam did in his. Didn't Saddam take care of those who were loyal to him and make everyone else suffer? In Iraq, if you criticized Saddam, there was a price to pay. Knowing what we know about Wilson, the same holds true here. A clear message was sent...criticize our administration and you will pay the price (going as far as possibly putting a family in danger!)Did I miss something or are these 2 nuts equally nuts? Bush is not only a danger to the world, he is a danger to this country!
(I am sure with more thought more comparisons could be made. There has got to be a religious one somewhere. Since it is Friday, my mind is not up to the task. I am feeling a bit lazy)

20. More tax cuts for the rich |
|
This guy is incredible. Going into 2004, all we will hear about from him is Saddam is terrible, and more tax cuts are needed to stimulate the economy. That's all he is capable of talking about; that's about all he HAS talked about. And, he may get away with it, while Rove et al rig the elections.

than what Saddam did in Iraq. Let's see, didn't Saddam take care of those who were loyal to him and make everyone else suffer? In Iraq, if you were critical of Saddam, there was a price to be paid! The "little scandal" courtesy of Novak, shows us the same holds true here. Who lied more to the people of their country? Did Bush lie more to us or did Saddam lie more to the Iraqi's? Am I comparing apples to oranges or are these 2 nuts equally nuts? If it wasn't Friday, I could probably muster up a few more comparisons (this might be old news... I am new to DU) because I am sure there are some military and religious ones in there. Dictator Bush and his merry men of military might are more of a danger because they strut around breaking international law under the guise of "freedom". Crazy, crazy, crazy. Threat? He scares the hell out of me.
