Syria Establishes Military Build up on Iraq Border
Syria launched a military build up on its Iraq border after the American Army began a wide-ranging military operation in a region in Iraq near the Syrian border.

Eyewitnesses in this area reported that they heard canon, warplane and bombing sounds coming from Al Kaim Township and its surroundings.

Local inhabitants reported that Syrian armored vehicles went to the border region with soldiers in them. Eyewitnesses noted that the tension in the region is quite high, and they added that they are anxious due to heavy American bombardment in the Ak Kaim region and Husayba Town.

2. I saw one of the former military talking heads on Fox yesterday saying
the next stage in fighting the Iraqi insurgency is to go into Syria. The Syrian have all the reasons in the world to be concerned, when fools like this are considered "experts" in this country.

3. Hey, we expanded bombing into Laos and Cambodia the...
precedent is already there. The question is whether we want to cross that threshold once again and escalate the war.

13. Any day now dubious unconfirmed reports will emerge
from army sources that the Syrians have violated Iraq's borders and action must be taken to stop this aggression. Yeah like the Syrians are going to commit suicide.

when it comes we should organise everyone in the nation who doesn't believe the lies to shout BUUUUUULLLLLSSSSHHHHIIIITTTT in unison at a specified day and time and Bush might hear.

The hawks in the administration and policy consultants take their marching orders from Israel. Their #2 loyalty is to the US.

...but weapons caches. They should preserve the integrity of the military organization at any cost while shedding its physical countenance. Armored vehicles are little more than targets for air power. All troops should be getting training in guerilla warfare and travelling in mufti. This is if their leadership knows what they are doing. Otherwise like Iraq they are in danger of ceasing to exist as a political entity.

19. If anyone denies that the neoCONs are going to expand their war,...
,...to Syria and Iran,...well, you are as gullible as the Democrats were when the neoCONs tricked them about Iraq.

There is no excuse, whatsoever, at this point in time, to remain in denial about how far the neoCONs will go. NONE!!!

20. Could this be a plan?
Force Syria to attack U.S. Troops. Invade Syria and Iran will enter into a war with the U.S. No fault of the Bush Junta that this happened. The U.S. had to defend the Democratic Republic of Iraq.
