MOSCOW. May 21 (Interfax) - Moscow does not consider the problem of Iraqi weapons of mass destruction closed and believes the UN that should put an end to this issue, said Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Yury Fedotov, who is a member of the College of Commissioners of the UN Monitoring, Verification and Inspection Commission (UNMOVIC) for Iraq. snip

"International inspectors reported back in spring 2003 that Iraq did not have ready-to-use weapons of mass destruction, and this was confirmed by a U.S. group, which conducted an investigation," Fedotov said.

1. Legally, it won't be closed until the UN signs off on Iraq, and not only

is that part of all teh UN resolutions against Iraq, it's against the AMERICAN-WRITTEN UN resolutions against Iraq including that signed by BUSH.

But hey, bush violates US law.

bush violates his own trade sanctions.

bush violates the US Constitution.

bush violates 7 signed & ratified Treaties (which all also cause violations of the US Constitution)

bush violates the Geneva Conventions (also a violation of the US Constitution)

So no biggie that bush also has violated and is violating his OWN RESOLUTIONS. (also violates the US Constitution)

4. Signed off in 1995 on a UN resolution that was drawn up in 2002?
The UN is required to sign off every UN resolution before they can close the books.

The WMD issue is stillopen and will remain open until the UN teams are allowed back into Iraq to finish their work and sign off. :)
