Mexico claims arrest of suspected 9/11 group member
Last Updated 8:04 am PDT Wednesday, June 22, 2005
MEXICO CITY (AP) - Mexico said it has detained a man believed linked to the groups that carried out the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in the United States.
The federal attorney general's office, in a bulletin issued late Tuesday, identified the man as Amer Haykel and said he was a British citizen born in Beirut, Lebanon.
"According to U.S. authorities, he is linked to extremist groups believed to be involved with the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, in New York," the agency said.

But more than likely,he is also a "KEY"individual to either any one of the Top Terrorist groups.
It is always a KEY no.2 0r 3 guy.
No low level suspects here.

If anyone even think about,or suggest a No. 4 or No. 5 guy, then that only confirms that you are a hater of freedom and democracy, and also a hater of America.
So there

8. interesting, another Lebanese restaurant owner arrested in Ecuador
By EDISON LOPEZ, Associated Press Writer
Wed Jun 22, 4:44 AM ET

QUITO, Ecuador - Police broke up an international cocaine ring led by a Lebanese restaurant owner suspected of raising money for Hezbollah, the Shiite Muslim group the U.S. classifies as a terrorist organization, authorities said.

Ecuadorean authorities on Tuesday declined to elaborate on the smugglers' alleged links to terrorist activities, saying the ties needed to be further investigated.

But the arrest raised the possibility, often cited as a threat by Washington, of cooperation between drug syndicates and terrorist networks. In particular, U.S. defense officials say Hamas and Hezbollah conduct significant fundraising activities in a few areas in South America, including Ecuador, with large Islamic populations.

An internal police report obtained by The Associated Press said preliminary evidence "confirms the relationship between this organization and the terrorist movement Hezbollah." The document said the gang sent "up to 70 percent of its profits to the Islamic group."
