Let's get this over with.

Bring back the draft, and let the revolution begin...

"Death by a thousand cuts."

Morale is shit. International support is not coming. Even the Pentagon worries aloud that folks will flee the Reserves the moment they get back Stateside. We need a larger force in Iraq, but the numbers just aren't there. We either die from a slow blood-letting, like we are now, or take the plunge and commit ourselves in a way that we should have in the first place.

If another front opens up on the "War on Terrorism," our own soil will not be properly protected...

(on edit: typo)

3. Despicable!!!
I hope all these fat assed, frat boy, chickenhawk, flag waving brown shirts are f**king proud of themselves!! They have nobody to blame but themselves for this senseless slaughter. The next time they call me a "traitor" for not supporting all of this Administration's policies--in addition to giving them a fat lip--I will make sure that they know all these men would still be alive today if we had been listened to.

12. Basic training would help the fatass chickenhawks get in shape.
But you won't see them anywhere near the recruiter's office. They prefer to watch their wars on tv, as they wave the flag.

4. Slightly updated story/link here....
Edited on Fri Oct-10-03 12:47 AM by VolcanoJen
This update emphasizes that the two fatalaties are are not related to the earlier car bombing and are indeed new attacks, although they happened in the same neighborhood.

For the record, that now makes 12 US soldier fatalities in October; who knows how many wounded (as they only report wounded now when a fatality is involved).

It's only October 10th.

:-(

Two U.S. soldiers were killed and four wounded in an ambush just hours after a fatal car bombing that killed 10 people — including the driver — in the same Baghdad neighborhood, the U.S. military said Friday.

6. It really is a shame that Dick, Rush, Bill O', George, and the rest
of the war mongering-profiteers hadn't avoided their turn in VietNam...maybe if they had served, they'd have understood why this kind of war is unwinnable.

8. US troops killed in Iraqi Shia stronghold
US troops killed in Iraqi Shia stronghold
Friday 10 October 2003

Two US soldiers have been killed and four others wounded in an ambush by suspected resistance fighters in Baghdad's Sadr City.

The US military said on Friday the soldiers were from the 1st Armoured Division and the attack happened on Thursday at 1700 GMT.

A Shia militia said earlier it had lost at least one of its men in a shootout with US troops on Thursday night in the teeming neighbourhood.

Nine people were killed in Sadr City in a car bomb explosion at a police station hours earlier.

The location of the latest anti-US attacks is significant because it may signify that the Shia are abandoning their non-aggression stance towards the occupying powers.

11. Newsweek Bureau Chief said casualties are NOT being reported.
I was watching Aaron Brown last night and he was interviewing the Newsweek Bureau Chief. He said that the military was not reporting many of the attacks and gave the example of how just a couple of days ago, someone rolled a grenade into a place where soldiers were gathered. There were 9 injuries to Americans and they had to be taken out of Iraq. It was never reported by the military.

an exclusive interview with "the chair"......probably conducted by Baba Wawa or her wanna-be Diane Sawtooth.

Oh yeah, Colin Powell assured the 'murican public a few weeks ago that ALL casualties were being reported honestly.....I believe him!

Can you believe that hussy had sex with three men on three different days?
