Pentagon assessment of Iraq progress goes to Congress tomorrow

PENTAGON Tomorrow, the Pentagon submits to Congress a report detailing where things stand in Iraq -- militarily, politically, and economically.

Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld says "challenges lie ahead." But he also says the gains that have been made since Iraqis voted in national elections have begun to reach critical mass --that more Iraqis believe their country is headed in the right direction.

...

Rumsfeld says the Pentagon doesn't release details of the readiness of the U-S military. To do so with regard to the Iraqi armed services, and point out their weaknesses, he says, would be "mindless."

2. Of course...

The Iraqis see their country going the right way. Apart for oil privitizing plans and this Zarqawi asswhipe running around their country. The Iraqis will eventually point their fingers at who is supporting him, and they will be heard. I hope.

3. Congress will vote that everything in Iraq is great.
See how easy it all is when Republicans have a majority.
