1. Bush thumbs his nose at America by rewarding suspected traitors
And then Bush rushes out of town to hide out for another stinking month at The Imperial Pig Farm Upon Crawford.

What's wrong with this picture?

12. "Bush LIED to the World to go to war"

..............More importantly, we now can prove it.I wish every liberal or sane conservative would repeat, repeat repeat...... BUSH LIED TO THE WORLD TO GO TO WAR...Because it is the big picture and it needs to be said again and again so the freepers who are so ill informed get it. I think that is what Rove would do?I say "fight fire with fire"....It is hard being a Liberal we are a heavily opinionated group who above all love thinking for ourselves as well as informing ourselves. And freepers ( many who love their country) know no better.I have family members who cannot fathom a president that lies...well wake up.

BUSH LIED TO THE WORLD TO GO TO WAR

16. Don't forget
to add that the entire Bush cabal are war profiteers. Bush didn't lie merely for the sake of lying (although the Bushes do exactly that from time to time). He and his family and buddies are making millions of dollars off of those lies.

And welcome to DU, bostonbabs!

32. bush lied to achieve his war... and all those that went along
are now out saying, I believed my President and he LIED to me." They're all outraged, Democrats and Republicans alike. They're going to their constituents at home - who share their outrage - and everyone is demanding impeachment for this crime.

25. My thought exactly. Once we start seeing the world
from beneath the surface of a mirror, we can figure out what these jokers are doing. Caught in multiple fedral felonies? No problem. Name them Heroes of the Republic.

This raise might also be an indication of how much they are worried.

Rove went out of his way to laugh sacrastically when a reporter asked him if he would resign. The raise is more such smoke.

31. Do you think this is goading?
I mean, almost everything that the Chimp does these days seems to be designed to infuriate Democrats.
Appointments to sensitive posts, rewarding those who have, by any measure, failed miserably, and Bills designed to target certain groups of people, either to punish them (Democrats) or reward them (corporate donators).

Edited on Wed Jul-27-05 08:19 PM by Canuckistanian
So, you're a big boss and there are serious, I mean SERIOUS allegations about wrongdoing on the part of one of your employees.
What do you do? You just wait, lie low and let the legal investigations take place.
What you don't do is announce a raise for him, a financial promotion. If you do, YOU look like the fool if the verdict comes back guilty. possibly even causing suspicions of collusion.

44. Part of it - they are very immature, petty, vindictive people.
It's easier to think of them as nasty, cliquish 3rd graders - then the things they do make more sense. If you try to evaluate their behavior as if coming from adults, your head may explode.
