Delaware senator believes Iraq will get tougher before it gets easier

WASHINGTON A top Senate Democrat says the Iraq war is a tough situation that's "going to get tougher before it gets easier."

Delaware's Joe Biden is the ranking Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Reacting to yesterday's roadside bombing that killed 14 Marines, Biden tells C-B-S the Marines have been put in a tough spot in Iraq in part because the Bush administration has made significant policy miscalculations from the start. He says there's a huge gap between reality on the ground in Iraq and the rhetoric from the White House.

8. Biden is DLC and the DLC is a backer of chimpie's wonderful adventure
Every time I read something about one of these DLC pukes, my hatred for them hardens a little more.

These motherfuckers claim to belong to the same party as me. In god damn credible.

12. How many times have we heard THAT before!
Just shut up, Joe. While you and the rest of the dinos keep squawking, young men and women are dying. Bush is shakin' in his wee cowboy boots, I tell ya, from all the TALK TALK TALK coming from the other side of the aisle.

When you stop squawking and start instigating impeachment proceedings, maybe someone will give a damn what you say, Joe.

13. He's right
The invasion is still popular in this country. Until the people get fed up with the war, deaths will increase. Viet Nam II.

I opposed the invasion. I oppose being in Iraq today. I'm just being realistic about the future. It's not good.
