General Motors to buy Indian auto parts worth $1 billion by 2008
NEW DELHI -- General Motors Corp. plans to buy $1 billion worth of automobile parts from India each year by 2008 as part of cost-cutting efforts at the world's biggest automaker, a senior executive at its local subsidiary said Friday.

1. Great.
Another whole mess of good paying high skill manufacturing jobs just went to some other continent. Not too worry, as soon as our standard of living is equivalent to India we will start getting those jobs back again.
