Sweden stops deporting gays to Iran
Sweden is to suspend all deportations of gay asylum seekers to Iran, following the recent executions of two 18-year old men, who some claim were killed for having had homosexual sex.

The Swedish Migration Board says no more gay Iranians will be deported until it has evaluated the situation of gay people in Iran.

“We will look into whether there have been changes to the situation of homosexuals in Iran,” Lars-Gunnar Lundh, deputy director-general of the board, told Swedish Radio.

The move was welcomed by gay rights group RFSL, although chairman Sören Andersson insisted it was not enough.

2. Did I say I was wanted for murder?
I meant to say that I was gay. I bet that people get those two phrases mixed up. Isn't just the silliest thing? HAHAHAHA...ah yes it is such a silly place we live in, this world.

5. It would be cool if some people started a modern underground railroad
and helped homosexuals escape from places where they are being persecuted in such a horrible manner. Bravo to Sweden, by the way. :applause:

6. bad title...
it's not like they were just deporting gay iranians. if you have illegals in your country, you deport them. looks like sweden suspended that because certain iranians (gays) may be harmed if they continued.
