Iran's wish to return to talks is 'positive' - Bush

CRAWFORD, Texas, Aug 9 (Reuters) - President George W. Bush said on Tuesday it was a positive sign that Iran wants to return to international negotiations over its nuclear program.

"That's a positive development," Bush told reporters after Iran's new president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, said he had new initiatives and proposals to discuss. Bush, however, said he was still deeply suspicious that Iran was intent on developing a nuclear weapon.
