Scarborough Won't Challenge Harris in Fla.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Talk show host and former congressman Joe Scarborough said Saturday he had decided not to challenge U.S. Rep. Katherine Harris in the Republican Senate primary.

Scarborough said he doesn't want to return to politics right now and instead will renew his contract with NBC to host "Scarborough Country" on MSNBC.

"When party leaders approached me three weeks ago, I told them how difficult a campaign would be this year considering my personal and professional commitments," Scarborough said. "Besides, I never cared for candidates who had to be coaxed into a political battle. Either you feel it in your gut or you don't."

Scarborough cited his show, which is taped in his hometown Pensacola, and his desire to be at home while his youngest son finishes high school.

5. Funny how every RW nutbag
Funny how every RW nutbag will always mention Vince Foster. Mention Lori Klausutis and Scarborogh and you get a blanker stare than usual.

He wouldn't withstand the scrutiny.

Phewww! Yea! RIGHT! He Doesn't want too!

More like he doesn't want to have that Investigation opened up that was never actually done properly.

If they ever did properly investigate it, his T.V. Career would be over and he would most likely end up in Prison. Lock 'em Up!

17. i think she would have. this election is a grudge fuck. bushco*
doesn't want her to run, to close for comfort. people are VERY pissed in florida. she wants to be a senator and has told * she's going to run anyway. There was a interview with one of harris' people who whined about the negative treatment from the White House after all "...she had done for them"

And joe--come on. As long as he keeps his head down (relatively) and keeps his cool, he's getting away with murder (literally). Nah, the race could be way to messy for him. And ultimately, no one with at least one foot on the ground thinks harris could legitimately win a florida senate seat. A gerrymandered district, yes. A statewide election, no f'ing way.

It's going to be interesting to see how much she extorts bushco* florida into letting her use their "election machine."

21. replying to myself, harris thrown down the gauntlet. She is going to run.
She feels she's entitled, and besides, she knows where the bodies are buried. She helped bury them. In Florida, at least. This is really going to be one of the most festive of the Florida races to watch. bushco*, ever vindictive and trying to go for the nuts, is looking for someone to slap harris back to reality. I can't believe they're so desperate they'd publicly float murderin' joe.
