U.S. Develops Electric Bullets to Fire Into Crowds
Edited on Tue Aug-23-05 02:43 PM by Julius Civitatus
Cue the Star Wars imperial march!
The "uber-Taser" is here:

U.S. Develops Electric Bullets to Fire Into Crowds

The government is developing a new generation of electric shock weapons that could be fired from across a city street or across a sports stadium. A Texas company called Lynntech is developing a projectile that can be fired from a shotgun or grenade launcher that sticks to the target and delivers an 80,000-volt shock for seven seconds. Further shocks can be triggered via remote control. (...)

The of Homeland Security is seeking alternatives with broader uses like light lasers or guns firing electric bullets to combat all manner of felon.

"People encountered can range from aggressors who are hardened criminals to mentally disturbed teenagers ... from protesting crowds that include children and elderly, to street gangs," the Homeland Security Department, which is soliciting prototypes from industry, said on its Web site.

Note the quote from the Homeland Security website. Everyone, just everyone is potentially an enemy! It's truly disturbing.

5. The evolution of a police state will have reached maturation the first
time such weapons are employed on those just exercising their first amendment rights: the RW agenda is being brought to fruition right before our years as the idolatrous throngs chant four more years, four more years.

12. They are designing these weapons to use on people like us
They have already abridged our constitutional rights of free speech and free assembly. We are getting to be like fascist Spain under Franco.

18. demonstrations aren't going to last long as effective statements
I vaguely wonder why they're not killing peaceful demonstrators outright given their general proclivities, but at any rate, other strategies should are probably going to be more productive.

They are silencing the media so that the demonstrations are never seen. They are understating the numbers by orders of magnitude unchallenged. And they're brutalizing demonstrators en masse.

Demonstrations are getting very effectively counteracted.
