Soldier Who Lived In Fort Worth Dies In Iraq
http://www.nbc5i.com/news/4904291/detail.html

FORT WORTH, Texas -- A soldier who called Fort Worth home died in Iraq this week.

Hatim Kathiria joined the U.S. Army just months after emigrating to the United States from India.

The 23-year-old had studied to be a software engineer, but work in that field was hard to come by. So, he joined the Army to earn citizenship more quickly and to make money to send to his family.

Kathiria was sent to Iraq in January, the same month he got married and received his U.S. citizenship. He was full of promise, and hoped to advance in the military while saving money for graduate school and preparing to help bring his family to the U.S.

1. Studying to become THAT in the United States?! What a waste.
Of time, that is.

Unless he was given a H1B and our tax dollars to learn English and the necessary software languages before being carted back to India, of course...

2. He got his citizenship and joined the service to make a living. This is
the Bush economy.

Talk to your kids.

3. Allow me to do my pro-war apologist impression...
"But he volunteered! He knew the risks!"
