FEMA head bears the brunt of Katrina anger

WASHINGTON - He's been called an idiot, an incompetent and worse. The vilification of federal disaster chief Michael Brown, emerging as chief scapegoat for whatever went wrong in the government's response to Hurricane Katrina, has ratcheted into the stratosphere. Democratic members of Congress are taking numbers to call for his head.

"I would never have appointed such a person," said New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton.

"Let's bring in someone who is a professional," urged Sen. Barbara Mikulski, D-Md.

A more visceral indictment came from closer to the calamity. Aaron Broussard, president of Jefferson Parish near New Orleans, said the bureaucracy "has murdered people in the greater New Orleans area."

"Take whatever idiot they have at the top of whatever agency and give me a better idiot," he told CBS. "Give me a caring idiot. Give me a sensitive idiot. Just don't give me the same idiot."

3. aWoL can not allow anyone to be accountable. It would set a precedent
We the people might actually begin to think that his 'accountability moment' was not when he stole the election in 2004.

6. And we cannot allow Dumbyass to get away with appointing
Michael Brown!

He should never have been appointed to begin with! Like so many other of Dumbyass' appointees, his devotion to the dynasty was his sole qualification.

Impeach Bush now!

10. Bush sees his appointees as an extension of himself, his power, so
since he is NEVER WRONG, NEVER MAKES A MISTAKE, they are not wrong and they do not make mistakes.

Yep. The buck stops with.... Clinton, probably.
It's coming soon. Clinton dropped the ball somewhere back down the line.
Sheesh... you can hear 'em ruffling through paperwork as we speak.

No responsibility. No accountabilty. No humanity, whatsoever.

11. That's exactly what I said to the person I talked to at my Congresswoman's
office yesterday--Brown is the stooge, the fall guy. I said the only solution was impeachment (I know it ain't happening, but they need to start hearing the "i-word" loud and fucking clear).

7. I like that guy.
He just tells it like it is. Unlike Bush, who tells it like he wishes it were.
