Iraqi politicians yet to agree on constitution
Iraqi politicians have failed to conclude negotiations on a draft constitution and it remains unclear when a final text may be printed.

"We don't know when they'll finish," Nicholas Haysom, the United Nations official charged with the printing, said.

Mr Haysom says negotiations are continuing.

"We'd like it as soon as possible," he said.

4. Yes. And a month from Thursday . . .
they're supposed to vote on the new constitution. Wonder how many hours -- if any -- the good people of Iraq will be afforded to read and discuss this "critically important" document.

Still quarreling over the phasing in the constitution? Time's up.  Well, at least the Iraqis are taking an interest in this.

9. I assume you mean "phrasing"?
I don't think it's quite the irrelevant haggling you seem to think it is. The debate is over serious matters - ones unlikely to be resolved by the puppet government anytime soon.

7. Who cares about the American puppets in Baghdad?
They are safely tucked away in the Green Zone and none of them has to bear the harships and terror that their fellow Iraqis have to endure. Screw the whole lot of them!
