Bush senior retires from Carlyle post
http://news.ft.com/servlet/ContentServer?pagename=FT.com/StoryFT/FullStory&c=StoryFT&cid=1066565235095

George Bush, former US president, is retiring from his position as senior adviser to the Carlyle Group, officials at the well-connected Washington-based private equity firm said yesterday.

Mr Bush, whose son George W Bush is the current US president, had been a senior adviser to Carlyle's Asia Advisory Board since 1999. Carlyle offered no particular explanation for the retirement of Mr Bush, other than his age and desire to move on to other endeavours.

...just a bit more...

hmmmm.....

wonder what "other endeavors" they speak of...

8. "other endeavors"
The man is old. He is rich. He has totally blackened his soul by all his misdeeds. He should just retire - what they fuck else could he want to get involved in? There is no evil left undone, no other worlds to conquer, just fade away, George.

17. Nah. He should kill himself.
Yes, I do support this traitorous murderer behind the deaths of so many thousands on innocent people (think the Middle East, think South America) killing himself. Alone. With no friends or family left to support him. Fully aware of the evil he is. Knowing he will never be free of the horrors that will haunt him, even in death.

Extreme? Maybe. But this monster deserves no less.

26. Nice sentiment
but I am certain that would require a level of self-awareness that sadly, no Bush, in their own, seemingly genetic derived narcissism, could ever achieve. But again, that would be poetic in its justice, Zhade

9. Maybe something's coming down the pipes and he doesn't want
to be held accountable? Will he get the million dollar annual compensation check that Cheney gets from Halliburton?

Tell me it ain't true! And since he and his wife both consider that this field of dems is so pukey, I guess that wouldn't have anything to do with it at all, eh?

When's he stepping down and or out of the gold business?

10. a head start
from the riots, crowds with pitchforks and torches by next year?
an event horizon looming?

one would think with every fact that comes to light, every news story that is squashed but leaks out anyway, every bit of the travesty that reaches the ears and eyes of the common American finally facing the lies uncovered and realizing the height of the deceit they've been fed, you'd think one day, the scale will tip, ever so slightly, but then with accumulating gravity, plunge down like a karmic plunger to unplug these criminals and free us all from the madness we have been living in since 2000.

you'd think...

29. Well, he and his family have been outted as Hitler supporters...
Also, the Barringer(sp?) Gold Mine ordeal is up and coming, HOPEFULLY, to a major tv news network on the heels of the Hitler info and maybe, just maybe, he wants to be isolated from all these dirty dems and their supporters who purport such utter nonsense?

15. Hmmmm........Maybe he has bigger plans of catastrophies to work on.
Maybe he will go retire with his buddy Osama on an island
off the coast of Iran and sit drinking their martinis watching
the fireworks go off all over the Middle East.

Or maybe he is just playing Duck and Cover while the Wilson CIA
hunts him down!!!

What a Maffia Don!

let's hope it does happen. You know what they say, "of an evil life, cometh an evil end". Otherwise, I'll lose my faith in Karma.

On a brighter note, I've read that the 3rd generation of Bush's are completely incorrigible (meaning, old George & Barbara's grandkids). We'll see....
