Saudi fighters join resistence in Iraq
http://english.aljazeera.net/NR/exeres/DABED12D-92C8-4BCF-A57F-0B3CCB8A5C8C.htm

<snip>A leading Saudi dissident says thousands of fighters from the kingdom are embroiled in attacks against American occupation soldiers in Iraq.

Dr Muhammad al-Massari, a political activist living in exile in London has told Aljazeera.net that resistance attacks in Iraq will continue to escalate in Baghdad.

''There are around 5000 mujahedin fighters from Saudi Arabia in Baghdad, and many others joining them from all over the Muslim and Arab world.

"These men have already stepped up their efforts to kick out the American imperialist's from Iraq, but what we are seeing is the tip of the iceberg'' he said.

....Uh,Oh!

2. Wholly shit
This reminds me of when the USSR invaded Afghanistan. Thousands of Mujadeen poured into Afghanistan to fight the "infidels" just to save the Muslim people there.

Now, they are doing the same thing to Iraq.

4. Hmmmm, things have a way of coming back to bite one in the ass...
given that the US supported the mujahaden in Afghanistan and now the US trained mujahaden are going to Iraq to fight against the US. It is said "what goes around, comes around" and this seems to bear that out.

7. Honestly no one saw this coming
Oh yeah that's right they did. Sorry for the confusion now go buy something.

Watch as the rightleaning monkeys use this to support their "It's beeter to fight them THERE not HERE" BS campaign. It wouldn't be this way if we hadn't attacked Iraq, morans.

11. this was predicted months ago
Edited on Tue Oct-28-03 10:42 AM by Aidoneus
The Saudi royals began kicking back into their role as quisling puppets and sent the regime's CIA-trained police/army into firefights with "militants" that were angered by official Arab complicity of the US occupation of Iraq, so the militants just decided to head north instead and fight the royals' bosses directly instead of by proxy. The number of 5,000 is probably an exagerration..
