Frozen Assets Going to Legal Bills .... (linked to terror)
Frozen Assets Going to Legal Bills
U.S. Has Linked Confiscated Funds To Financing Terror
By Gregory L. Vistica
Washington Post Staff Writer

Millions of dollars impounded by the government from three Islamic charities accused of financing terrorism have been spent to pay the legal bills of the foundations' attorneys, according to the Treasury Department and the lawyers themselves.

Lawyers for the charities have billed the government for approximately $3 million worth of services that range from filing lawsuits to attempting to unfreeze the charities' assets to handling hundreds of media calls. All the legal activity involves civil disputes, not criminal matters.

The practice of allowing assets frozen in the domestic war on terrorism to be relinquished to the organizations accused of financing groups such as al Qaeda has alarmed several members of Congress.

"They ought to be paid by the people who are hiring them," but not with the frozen money if it is associated with the financing of terrorism, said Sen. Arlen Specter (R-Pa.). "It's really a fraudulent conversion, a bait and switch," he said.

1. If there has been $136M linked....who has that kind of cash...?
"Since the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, the United States and other governments working to stanch the flow of money to terrorist groups have frozen more than $136 million in monetary assets they claim assist al Qaeda or other terrorist groups. "

snip

I think the question is why are they bombing caves in Afghnaistan when $136M is obviously coming from those of greater means?

Why didn't they follow the money on the put options for the airlines on 911..? Now there is a trail.

2. Because the trail leads back tho the White House?
"Why didn't they follow the money on the put options for the airlines on 911..? Now there is a trail."

People are missing a very large "Duh" factor here, i.e, the elephant in the middle of the room, because people can't believe our government could be involved so heavely in our own destruction.

3. As I have shared before...global terror is the Trojan Horse for
Global Union.

Control the world through fear...the US reduced in status and has no other choice through failing dollar, economy, jobs , social systems...they join on.

Once you have a glbal govt..you have global control. The question is why..why do they need need more moeny and more power.

Maybe becuase we see thorugh the crap and the "genie is out of the bottle".
