Military moms speak out after presidential speech

<snip>

"I thought the speech was very impressive," said Jan Anderson. "It was very presidential, very statesman-like."

Anderson is a member of the Quad City Families in Support of Troops -- better known as Q.C. FIST. Her son served in Iraq and Afghanistan. She likes what President Bush is saying.

"He was very clear, and he was very forceful in stating that we will not leave until the job is done," she said.

Caryn Unsicker is another military mom with a very different opinion.

"President Bush deceived us in getting into this war," she said. "He's so wrong-headed and stubborn about keeping us there."

4. Republicans are already making plans
- label dems as warmongers
- our job is finished in Iraq (just check out our doctored news stories)
- Republicans support peace with honor (right before the midterms)

6. Naaaahhhh. Not her.
Either she thinks she's praying enough so it won't happen to her kid, or if he does get killed, she'll just want more to die so he will "not have died in vain." Of course, she won't be thanked for letting her son get killed so the kid before him didn't "die in vain." (This circular/chain thinking is confusing me.)

7. And "the job" would be ... ?
To make Iraq stable for an Islamic theocracy to thrive or to suck out every last drop of blood oil money for Haliburton?
