Support for Bush slumps in US

A nationwide US poll says an estimated 44% of the US electorate plan to vote against President Bush next year, while 38% would support his re-election.

The survey by Marist College's Institute for Public Opinion put the president's approval rating at 53%.

<snip>?
In theoretical match-ups against the Democrats, Mr Bush led them all. Closest to the president - 48% to 43% - was Gephardt.

1. "Support for Bush slumps in US" Well.....
......I would sure as hell hope so, how much worse does a politician have to do to lose support?? All those that still feel that GWB is the best thing ever, they should go over and rebuild Iraq themselves and take part in the "greatness"

2. Huh?
6% more would vote against him than for him, but he leads all Dems. So who are the rest voting for?

This isn't 2000 all over again, is it?
