1. Wonderful!
We had good news here in NYC too. Could this signal a return to sanity in our country, at least in some of it?

3. Great news.
Here, in Monroe County, NY, pretty much other way around :-(
Also begins quite a bit in the family court judge, and the DA race is really close, for now in our favor, but by the slightest margin. I am hoping that the rest will be the metro, though. Winning the DA race would be at least something, though -- the Republican candidate is a real bloodthirsty #(#($#($(#).

4. This is good, but
I'm not sure Onorato isn't a DINO.

Good coverage:

5. This is excellent news
Pennsylvania is a key state in 2004 and in the end much more important than Mississippi or Kentucky will be as Bush is likely to carry both of those states anyway. But Pa. is a swing state and the news the past two election cycles has been good--Rendell elected Governor and the big victories in Philadelphia for Mayor Street (in an election which was supposed to be close) and now this landslide in Western Pennsylvania against an incumbent for county executive.

Of course the "pundits" will focus on any losses the Dems have and ignore the good news becuz they are whores with their noses stuck up Bush's ass--excuse my FRENCH.
