6. MEMRI cannot even be cited in the I/P forum, per DU rules
that should tell our fellow DUers something about this hate mongering website which specializes in translating the most hateful speeches from the most hateful Islamists, and present them as representative of all Muslims.

This is like portraying the gay-hating Rev. Phelps as representative of Christianity.

8. It's been reported on Debka as well.

Go to www.debka.com and page down about one third of the way in the centre column and look for the banner "Al Qaeda again threatens New York, Washington and Los Angeles."

There are allegations that Debka.com has connections to Israeli intelligence sources.

Edited on Wed Nov-05-03 02:30 AM by Tinoire
Do you not remember all their reports about hordes of Chinese massing to fight with the Afghans?
If you place your faith in Devka, you might as well telephone Sharon directly and get the propaganda from the source... Truth mixed in with self-serving lies so you "know" who to blame (the Muslims) if/when something happens- that's all Devka is.

41. Debka is an odd information site.
It is either right on the money, or totally wrong. There isn't much in-between.

The problem is it is right too often to ignore, and wrong too often to ever act on it's information until you find independent sources that agree.

12. here you go: The bush regime is about to crank the Crusade up a notch

They are moving troops, planes around like anything and are getting tuned up to either carpetbomb Iraq again, invade Iran, or depopulate Afghanistan. I don't pretend to know which.

But it will involve the slaughter of a lot more Muslims, which will tickle the regime loyalists and Crusade fans pink, but to err on the side of caution they want to make sure that the Islamophobia pot is kept well-stirred.

I think it is like the cover ban. They mistakenly think that Us troop deaths would erode support for the Crusade, forgetting that most of those troops were considered undesirable by the voting class before they ever joined the army, and disposable now that they have, and they don't need to worry.

Nor do they need to worry that there will be anything more than isolated pockets of mild protest, that will be drowned out by the cheers, when they bomb whoever they are tuning up to bomb.

granted they are self serving corporate lackeys. :(

So that's it then, we have shifted over to control via corporatism (cronyism) and not capitalism? Democracy has been sold down the river for a new Coca-Cola jingle?

You're right DuctapeFatwa, Rove doesn't have to think to fool the masses, I just have to believe that somewhere, someone is going to bring this host of corporate pirates down for the count. It keeps me sane to entertain my brain with flights of fancy.

It doesn't mean a thing if they don't have both courage and heart. The Tin Man, the Scarecrow and the Lion, remember?

Congress gets more partisan, the Dems respond by getting more cautious. More worried about getting re-elected and shifting the balance of power to take a stand on anything.

Were the Republicans this weak when they were in the minority? I don't think so.

Or alternatively, making the US a colony of Finland.

53. It's Not Just Getting Away With It
This time, an attack could not be blamed on another president's "failed" foreign policy. Another attack would be put directly at the feet of Georgie and pals, as evidence of the failure of preventive war.

All the tough talk and aggressive action will look like, even to the masses, as the CAUSE of the attack.

I'd say that from a political POV, the last thing Georgie and gang want is another attack on U.S. soil. While a 2 week bump in polls MIGHT happen, come election time, his FAILURES would be the Dems raison d'etre.

38. RW politics
feeding stories through Fox and Debka to spread general fear everywhere so boy bush could come to the rescue...coincidentally right as the 04 campaign is about to start...WHAT A COINCIDENCE!

too much RW political games for me...and too depressing...

bonus for them: the post in the Al Qaeda web site advising Muslims to leave 3 U.S. cities now. Problem is, they've done this before, a lot. No, it just fits in with the other plan....though that wasn't the terrorist intention.

but there is the Skulls and Bones link in all this, the one of the "New World Order" that Skulls is behind...this is very spooky territory...

Skulls alumni presidents bush sr and boy bush. Also "Teddy" Roosevelt and Robert Taft (and high officials around all presidents the last 100+ years). Impressive that 4 presidents belonged to any one power hungry group/cult requiring members to get in a coffin with the bones of a dead person, dedicated to their eventual control of the world. Scary is a better word once you get to know the Skulls better...And they laugh all these things off as just crazy stuff college kids do...

Bush Sr. also former head of CIA (Skulls types flock to intelligence serviices for some reason). was while in his CIA capacity in the "vicinity" of JFK assassination, then in "vicinity" of Reagan assassination attempt. In fact, Bush family was close to the Hinckley family, and Bush Boy before he was famous in 1982 issued famous non-denial denial of personally knowing Hinckley (both and brother Neil Bush went to same school in TX)... Think about this a bit. What are the odds of something like this happenning?

BTW, Skulls brother (1863?) Teddy Roosevelt became President by way of assassination...using same old "signature" technique perfected in CIA mind control reasearch, of using middle-men to set up brainwashed "patsies".

Forgotten too is that Ross Perot abruptly withdrew from the presidential race in 92 in July, when his poll numbers were sky high, for no apparent reason! Perot did say his daughter had been threatened with blackmail over some pictures, but the truth is Perot's life was threatened by "dark forces" unless he quit the race...

Turns out years later in 96 CIA operative Chip Tatum (here is a link: http://www.leopoldreport.com/Pegasus.html#ankare726150 or do a Google on him) signed a sworn affidavid that he was issued a sanction in 92 on Perot's life by Bush Sr. who cited "national security" imperatives (there are copies provided in some sites of another Bush Sr. directive to Tatum), and that Tatum saw this for what it was, an attempt to get rid of a political opponent, not the "preserve national security" bs ..and he refused the sanction and went to and did warn Perot (the letter to Perot is also posted)... Perot, also a former CIA operative took some time behind the scenes and eventually got back in the race...at that point only to ensure that Bush Sr. lost in 92.

This does/ if you paid some attention to Perot over the years, explain why this guy so utterly detests Bush Sr. which clearly comes out in interviews over the years. This behavior by Perot is totally inconsistent with his behavior about anybody else...and Perot reserves it just for Bush Sr., he says real nice things about Bush Boy. Very very interesting area, but scary as hell.

Too many things come back to Bush Sr. Going after Perot a 3rd party candidate in 92 is not unlike patsy Arthur Bremer went after 3rd party candidate George Wallace in 1972, who was also taking votes away from Nixon; or from going after RFK in 1968 right after he won the California primary, because RFK would probably beat Nixon in 1968. Again, CIA operative Bush Sr. in the "vicinity". With JFK and McKinley patsies were used too, and interests of Skulls involved in all...

New York = the heart of our economy, the center of the media, the focus of Western civilization.

Washington = the heart of our government.

L.A. = The center of the film industry, which has a worldwide impact on culture; a media center; an economic center with ties to the Far East.

...there is nothing imminent on the horizon for the continental U.S. He meets with DHS, FBI, SS, etc. in a fairly regular basis, and is deep into anti-cyberterror, so I trust his judgement. We follow his flight schedules religiously, so I doubt he is feeding me disinfo. He also gave us the green light on D.C. for a trip this weekend...

Nice to have this kind of source.
