Young Clark Supporters Launch Innovative New Website: GenClark.com
A Website Targeted to Gen X and Gen Y

Little Rock - Responding to the surging support of young Americans for General Wesley Clark's candidacy, supporters today launched a new website - GenClark.com. GenClark.com is the latest of several grassroots campaign efforts led by young people.

"I am thrilled that so many young people are actively involved in my campaign. We need their enthusiasm and energy," said Clark. "This campaign is about the future, their future." Currently, student groups dedicated to electing Wes Clark are active on over 475 campuses in 49 states

The web-site was launched only days after a CNN/USA Today Gallup poll showed that Clark was leading all other Democratic candidates among potential voters aged 18-29. The site will soon feature Flash animation and other interactive technologies.

Also, "Company C", a grassroots organization of young professionals for Clark, held several fundraisers and parties in conjunction with Monday night's nationwide Meet-ups of Clark supporters. Company C members receive targeted e-mails from the campaign and are an integral part of the campaign's fundraising efforts. The honorary chairman is the Clark's son, Wes Clark, Jr.

In addition, on November 14, New Hampshire will witness the first "Student Invasion," as students from across the country come to the Granite State to stump for Clark. The campaign will sponsor "Winternships" which will allow students to spend part of their winter break canvassing voters in key primary states.

Finally, Clarkapallooza - a concert to bring together great bands in support of Wes Clark - is in the planning stages.

"Young people are not just another constituency group for my campaign," said Clark. "They are the campaign."

2. Some advice: Flash animations with a toggle
Clark needs the message to toggle to keep up with his ever changing positions. Best not to make anything permanant, like a campaign button or bumpersticker!
Think how dweebish those I VOTED FOR ROSS PEROT bumperstickers look.

4. Have to Admit That's Some Catchy Stuff
and unfortunately, catch phrases and smirky grins appear to be what wins elections instead of intelligent debate on the issues.
