How Russian Oil Tycoon Courted Friends in U.S.
By TIMOTHY L. O'BRIEN

Published: November 5, 2003

In early 2001, as George W. Bush's administration moved into the White House, one of Russia's wealthiest men, Mikhail B. Khodorkovsky, sought a meeting with the new national security adviser, Condoleezza Rice. According to a former staff member, National Security Council analysts were asked to perform a background check.

Mr. Khodorkovsky did not get the meeting — part of the tycoon's efforts to secure approval from the American establishment — because of "allegations of past business improprieties," the former staff member said, also noting that Mr. Khodorkovsky spent heavily in Washington to court the Capitol's inner circle.

But Mr. Khodorkovsky's steady efforts to win access to other influential Americans have paid off. Last July, he met with Energy Secretary Spencer Abraham to discuss America's oil policy. Former President George H. W. Bush traveled to Russia in September and spoke at a dinner attended by Mr. Khodorkovsky.

That event prompted Moscow newspapers to speculate that the visit was part of an effort by American companies to secure a merger with Yukos Oil, where Mr. Khodorkovsky was chief executive until he quit on Monday in a swirl of fraud and embezzlement charges. His replacement, a Russian-born American, was confirmed yesterday.

1. Be sure you study the entire issue in Russia
"Mr. Khodorkovsky spent heavily in Washington to court the Capitol's inner circle." Mr. Khodorkovsky is a Russian Jew with many ties to the American Jewish circle. It cannot be lost on anyone that Sharon visited Putin to talk about "UN resolutions" yeah, I bet. Keep your eyes on this situation to tell whether Putin will be more influenced by his own country or the Bush cartel.

2. You can bet your ass that Spencer Abraham......
our Energy Secretary, went running to Richard Cheney with all the detail, 'eh? I wonder if "Kenny Boy" knew Mr. Khodorkovsky, I think so!!

Another thing that becomes perfectly clear now is why daddy Bush traveled to Russia in September. Mr. Khodorkovsky ate his dinner while H. W. Bush spoke. I bet the Russia tycoon was hoping that Bush wouldn't puke on his food, 'eh?

Please read this article and see how we have organized crime in our White House. This is big!!!!! And it goes deep.

Ya got the Carlyle Group involved with Mr. Khodorkovsky and junior's daddy working for, GUESS WHO??

Putin was smart to arrest this piece of slime. Meanwhile Ken Lay walks around a free man.

5. Let him enjoy these last few precious days of freedom.
Kenny Boy's past looks like catching up with him maybe quicker than he imagined....His old UK crony Dame Shirley Porter has just had a major offshore asset freeze which although reported in the press, can't be gagged in its entirety much longer. Wonder how Poodle thinks he can quash that one...

6. Ya know emad aisat sana.....
I haven't heard a thing about this Dame Shirley Porter story here in the US. Why? Well, maybe I have overlooked it and I'll cut slack where it may be due, but I don't think so.

If ya have a link to the offshore asset freeze I'd appreciate it.

Blair is the best glib talker I've ever seen and I'm sure he'll overcome that one also. I think the Poodle may be safe until 06.

4. I Suspected As Much
This story is VERY deep. Put some of the pieces together: Russia's big oil deal w/ Saudi Arabia AFTER the US removes all of it's troops. Russia's NUCLEAR relationship w/ Iran. Russia's refusal to send troops to Iraq. I'm sure there's more.

Russia is making big moves in the region and the arrest of Khodorkovsky is part of this. It's clear this guy was in cahoots with the US.

9. More to this...
According to an article by Lawrence Kaplan in The New Republic,
Aug 7 2000, "From Russian With Loans"- What Dick Cheney has been doing all these years, leads one to beleive that the new pres of Yukos was doing business with Ex Im bank and the Clinton Admin knew about the shady dealing and put a stop to the loans from Ex Im(Export Import Bank). New president of Yukos is one Simon Kukes who was the former pres of the other shady oil company. Google the item if interested, the TNR site is by subscription only. Would appear Poppy and James (Satan) Bakers III recent trip to Putt Put, have paid off in spades. The largest Russian oil company is now in the hands of Americans, wonder who has the controlling interest? Did I mention that Dick Cheney and Halliburton were involved in the original deal.

I'm shocked, I tell you, just shocked.

WE HAVE ASSUMED CONTROL, WE HAVE ASSUMED CONTROL.... (Rush 2112)

10. Hmmm...........These new(old) oil slick kings were chosen by Put?
I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

And I guess Chavez in Venezuela may be one step ahead of the
pact.

It certainly has Poppy's tentacles all over it.

11. Why no independent TV in Russia? It's 2004! Why did Putin close them down
I think I trust Khodorkovsky more than Putin. But I don't know a whole lot about the Russian issues.

But I do have more than 10 personal friends who had/have business in Moscow. It's a den of murderous extortionist. All my friends have to pay extortion protection money to be able to operate businesses in Russia. (All my friends are foreigners.)

They even are hit-up by children with guns/weapons to pay tolls walking across bridges.

People are murdered who don't pay.

But with the larger corporations they get a local Mafia family leader as an investor or give them stock shares which is how the large US corporations pay the extortionists.

But our World's Finest; CIA, FBI, DIA, State Dept., seem to have no idea this stuff is happening.
